Conditions of participation

Terms and conditions for participation in a seminar/photoworkshop

Please note: The subject of the contract with me is only the participation in the photo workshop (lessons or coaching on the subject of photography), there is no travel contract according to §§ 651a ff. of the German Civil Code. All travel services on site (transport, accommodation, catering etc.) are offered by a local guide (Mr Abdelhadi Elmoustahli) on his own account and are not part of the contract. Participants are also responsible for organising their own travel to and from Morocco.

Registration/Payment

If there are more registrations for a seminar than places, the order in which they are received will determine the participants.

A deposit of 20 % is due upon registration, the remaining course fee is due for payment four weeks before the start of the workshop.

If there are only three participants, the workshop fee is increased by 40 % per person.

Your written registration becomes valid upon receipt of the course fee in my account.

Third-party services such as hotel, breakfast and dinner, guide, driver, vehicle, petrol, lift and dromedary will be paid by the participant directly to the third party (guide) or collected during the workshop. A deposit of 20 % is also due for this service, which will be transferred to the account of the third party. The remaining amount is to be paid to the guide no later than four weeks before the start.

If there are only three participants, the amount for third-party services increases by 40 % per person.

In any case, a direct contract is concluded between the participant and the third party - the terms and conditions of the third party apply to third-party services.

Cancellation of the seminar

We reserve the right to cancel the seminar if the specified minimum number of participants is not reached or if the seminar/workshop leader is ill or unable to attend for an important reason. The seminar can be cancelled up to two weeks before the seminar if the minimum number of participants is not reached. The participation fee already paid will then be refunded without any further claim. There are no further claims.

Cancellation by the participant

Cancellation is possible at any time up to four weeks before the start of the seminar without giving reasons. In this case the compensation is 20 % of the participation fee. In the event of a later cancellation, we are entitled to demand compensation from the participant in the amount of the full seminar fee.

For third-party services, the cancellation conditions of the third party (e.g. hotel, guide, vehicle, etc.) apply. Until the start of the seminar, the participant may nominate a substitute person to take part in the seminar. In this case, the seminar participant shall bear any costs incurred.

The cancellation policy in accordance with the Distance Selling Act and the cancellation form can be found here.

Risks

Participation in seminars/workshops, photo weeks or other photo activities is at the participant's own risk. The participant is liable for accidents during arrival and departure and during the event. The organiser's liability for damages is limited to the amount of the seminar/workshop price, provided that we have not caused the damage either intentionally or through gross negligence.
